Responsibilities: Role Description 1. Understanding the domain 2. Understanding the requirements 3. Preparation of test scripts, execution and submitting defects to defect tracking tool 4. Good understanding of process (STLC, SDLC) 5. Good exposure to SQL,DB 6. Strong in developing and executing test scripts 7. Experience in any of the performance tools like Load runner 8. Exposure to configuration and build management 9. Develop and Maintain Test Automation scripts 10. Expertise in Automation frameworks, preferably Rational Robo / Rational Functional Tester. 11. Work with the development team to understand the functional requirements, update the automation scripts and test the functionality developed.
